Like other throwback shooters, Turbo Overkill is unreasonably fast, and blowing Syn's minions into bloody chunks while figure skating around them with a sawed-off shotgun feels just about perfect, if Quake is your idea of a good time. If you have an interest in the wave of '90s revival shooters that have been lovingly dubbed "boomer shooters," you'll recognize Prebble's crowd.
